WWE creative team decides matchups internally.
But:
-
They don’t fully know which specific superstar vs superstar match fans MOST want.
-
Social media noise is unstructured.
-
Trending hashtags don’t convert into measurable match demand.
-
WWE – Can WWE implement a structured fan-driven match creation system that quantifies real demand for specific superstar pairings?
Open Match Demand Platform (OMDP)
On WWE website/app:
Fans can:
1️⃣ Select Superstar A
2️⃣ Select Superstar B
3️⃣ Submit desired match
System checks:
If match already exists →
👉 “This match already exists and redirects to that match. Please vote here.”
If match does not exist →
👉 Create new match pair on the page.
Based on votes generated sorting happens and if 10 matches top 10 can be used.
OMDP 2.0 (Weighted Fan Demand System)
Paid Voting (Premium Access Model)
Every user:
-
Gets 1 free vote per match
BUT
Users who:
-
Bought tickets
-
Bought merch
-
Subscribed
-
Attended live events
Receive Fan Credits
Example:
-
1 ticket purchase = 5 voting credits
-
1 merch purchase = 2 credits
-
Active subscription = monthly bonus credits
Now voting becomes:
Demand Score = (Base Votes × 1) and (Fan Credits Weighted Votes × 2)
Final Selection Probability Model:
Final Selection Score = (0.6 × Fan Demand Score) and (0.4 × Creative Strategic Score by WWE)
This idea is stronger than the basic open voting system because now it connects:
Engagement + Revenue + Demand Forecasting
